Knowing that we may have to go into the hosital as early as 4:30am, we made elaborate plans for people to be here to take care of Ella.
Sara and Julia spent the night and the plan was for them to drop Ella off at preschool since we would hopefully be in the hospital before she woke up. Well, that didn't exactly happen; Sara, Julia, and I dropped her off while Rob waited for "the call."
The plan all morning was for Sara and Julia to stay until Rob's parents arrived. Then there would be a changing of the guard and Arlene and Arthur would pick Ella up from preschool, since we would be at the hospital.
Well, that didn't exactly happen. Rob and I are here for the changing of the guard; we'll pick Ella up at preschool, put her down for nap, and then head over for a blood pressure check and nonstress test. We'll likely be home before she even wakes up from nap.
We'll continue to keep you posted . . .
