39 Weeks and Still Counting . . .

Here we are, at week 39, still waiting for Little Guy to make his dramatic entrance. My friends and family have been really supportive during the wait.


Julia and Sara came up on Monday for a playdate.











Sara even took me to Pizzaria Unos for lunch so we could get Muchos Nachos for lunch (which sent me into labor with Ella but unfortunately, it didn't work this time).

Rob got me the world's most comfortable chair to ease the discomfort of waiting and waiting and waiting.












Of course, the chair's so comfortable we all fight over who gets to sit in it.












Ella's been the biggest help of all. She keeps me entertained and smiling.












Here she is wearing her three-year-old birthday hat (thank you Ann, Sophia, and Dave!) and putting on a puppet show.











This morning I was struggling to get my socks on (my belly's THAT big) and Ella said, "the socks are the hardest part" and put them on for me.

Little Guy is going to be so lucky to have her as a big sister.
