Jack-O'-Lantern Spectacular

On Monday night we went to the Jack-O'-Lantern Spectacular at the Norwalk Maritime Aquarium.

It's an amazing exhibit of over 1,000 carved jack-o'-lanterns. Artists work for weeks carving and recarving as the original pumpkins begin to rot.

Some of the pumpkins were relatively simple but others were amazingly complex.

Unfortunately, the event doesn't start until 6pm, which is pretty late for a 20-month-old.

Ella liked the pumpkins but her favorite part was definitely climbing up and down these stairs and watching the seals in the outdoor pool.

All those pumpkins were quite a sight.

"Next year, this will be more interesting to me."

Ella's not sure how she feels about Daddy posing in front of the "Great Thinkers" exhibit.
