Toddlers and the Pulitzer Prize

Yesterday, I had dinner almost complete when Ella started pulling on my leg and indicating that she wanted to play with me. Trying to buy myself just a minute or two to finish up I asked her to go get a book that we could read together. I figured she'd go to her room, get a picture book, and come back. Well, she came back with a book, alright but what she brought me was Michael Chabon's 656 page Pulitzer Prize winning epic novel the Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay.

Let's just say it was difficult abreviating that book to her satisfaction. Fortunately, Daddy arrived home moments later.
