Oh, Dear

We live in the perfect neighborhood to raise an animal lover. Deer, foxes, opossum, racoons, skunks, turkeys, squirrels, coyotes, and chipmunks can regularly be seen tramping through the yard. So far, the deer have been too well camouflaged for her to spot.


Not today! Here's Ella standing in our bathroom window watching a deer right outside.

















She stood there, watching the deer (and brushing her teeth) for a good 15 minutes.




Hey, I just realized that she's using my toothbrush!
