Bronx Zoo

This weekend we went with our friends Marc and Kelly to the Bronx Zoo. We had a fantastic time and proved without a shadow of a doubt that Ella loves animals.









The first animal we saw, the Bison just about knocked her socks off! She "ohhhhed" and "ahhhhed" and pointed to them over and over. Of course, she also enjoyed seeing the squirrels and birds.










Ella thought it was pretty funny to see Daddy dressed as a Midge Fly.












At the polar bear display, Rob walked right by a huge fish tank without even noticing it. Ella instantly started smacking her lips (baby sign language for "fish") and pointing at the tank so he slowed down and they watched the fish together.

Here we are in the butterfly house. Marc's probably telling Ella not to squash anything!











Back at home, we got out our toy versions of her favorite animals- giraffes, lions, monkeys, birds, hogs, bison, polar bears and rams.

We can't wait to go back and see more!
