Pool Party

During the heatwave the hit New England last week, we set up Ella's baby pool for the first time. She wasn't exactly sure what to think of it. For Ella, the swim diaper was weird, the bathing suit was weird, the swim shoes were weird and the pool that appeared in the yard was weird.
For Mommy, getting her dressed to swim was exhausting, getting the pool out and filled was exhausting, and getting the toys and towels set up was exhausting.
After all that work, though, we figured out the perfect 6-Step Pool Party Plan.

Step 1: Stand outside the pool and check it out.

Step 2: Get in the pool but don't sit down yet.

Step 3: Check out the toys but still don't sit down!

Step 4: Sit down but look unsure of what's going on.

Step 5: Get out of the pool and run around the yard.

Step 6: Play in the yard around the pool while wearing your hat and coverup.

Lisa - this blog made me laugh sooo hard!!! It's so TRUE! We go through all the hoops to set up something that we think it will be tons of fun for our kids, we are exhausted and they are either like 'what am I suppose to do with this?' or like 'yeah, thanks, but what is the whole fuss about this?'...Hilarious.

Love,

Andrada
