What a Week It's Been

It's hard to believe how much Ella's changed during the past week. Here she is, a full body pose at 1 week of age, wearing a diaper that's a full size too big (oopps- all those diaper packages look alike) and sporting the lastest in post delivery belly button designs. And yes, she is on the aforementioned digital scale from Granddaddy Rybolt.

Yesterday, my friend Rhonda and her 4-year-old son Ori came for a visit and the first thing Ori said was, "we need to put a dollar bill on the baby," referencing our previous to scale photo.




Finally, many of you have heard of our animal adventures in our yard. We've dealt with deer, foxes, skunks, opossums, squirrels, mice, and turkeys. Now we have a new creature lurking around. Its body is pink, it has fuzzy ears like a bunny, paws like a bear cub, and mischief in its eyes. We may have to call animal control if we can't keep this wild beast at bay.
