Snow Day

Ella and I had a snowday today since her school was closed. That meant that I suddenly had to come up with a morning's worth of activities that involve me not sitting on the floor, not bending over, and not moving around too much.

Fortunately, we had lots of her birthday gifts to play with.

Here she is playing with her Fairy Playhouse. By the way, Ella has been watching a superhero show with her Daddy and now likes to be called "Silver Surfer." She calls me "Hulk" and Rob either "Wolverine" or "Hobgoblin (aka the guy with the pumpkin)."

Here she is playing with her marble track from Grandma and Pa.

Now we're playing with lacing beads from Angela and Andrada.

Finally, here's my favorite thing. I was opening another toy and Ella was playing quietly by herself for a few minutes. Next thing I know, she had made this toy car.
