A Memorial Day Worthy of Memorializing

Our family had a fantastic Memorial Day Weekend. My cousin, Bill, came to visit from Atlanta.

On Saturday we drove up to Sara and John's house and met up with my dad. We all went out to lunch and then hung out with Franklin in their backyard.

Saturday, Sara, John, and Franklin came to our house and we hung out on the porch all day.

We celebrated John's birthday with not one but two Cold Stone Creamery ice cream cakes, shared Harry Potter theories, and watched trailers for the upcoming "Golden Compass" movies.

In honor of the 30th anniversary of the release of Star Wars, we rewatched the first trilogy. Here, Ella is watching with her Bill and with her new stuffed Gator (which we named Uncle Bill in honor of my Uncle Bill who gave it to her).

Ella and Bill had a great time just hanging out together. The whole family built some wonderful memories this weekend.
