Trick-or-treat

Ella's first real foray into trick-or-treating was a success. She wasn't quite sure what was going on when I put her into her Fairy costume, popped her into her stroller, and headed off to the neighbor's house.

We live on a quiet street so all the neighborhood kids trick-or-treat together. Ella was the youngest this year.

Here's Melissa explaining to Ella the finer points of trick-or-treating.

Ella picked it up pretty quickly.

Here she is headed to her first house:

Here's Ella returning back home, and trick-or-treating at our own house.

Ella was little enough she didn't even realize that everyone was putting candy into her treat bag. She seemed to think they were just interesting little trinkets. That was fine for Rob who polished off her whole bag that night.

Ella, when you're old enough to read this, go tell Daddy that he owes you about 20 pieces of chocolate!
