This is Ella drinking her last "bubba".

Instead of going cold turkey, one night we just gave her a cup of milk instead of a bottle (but we still called it "bubba").
In true Ella fashion, the switch didn't phase her at all. Rob and I, however, didn't take it so well. In fact, the next night we went back and gave her a bubba just so that we could take photos of it and trade her back and forth so we both got to snuggle her during her last bottle. Now, she's happy with her cup of milk and she's never looked back.

It's so sad when they grow up (coming from the woman with a 6 month old), but it's also exciting to see them learn new things. You're sad and excited at the same time. I'm glad to hear that Ella is so easy going about it. I know lots of people that have big problems giving up the bottle.
