Push!

Some purchases for young children you make out of necessity (diapers & wipes) and some you make out of sheer fun (crayons & babydolls). Our recent purchase of a pram-style doll stroller came out of sheer necessity (with a tiny bit of fun sprinkled on top).
















Why, you ask, is this stroller masquerading as a necessity. Well, it all has to do with one simple word:

PUSH

Yes, push, that's the word of the hour here at CederBaby! Ella used to like to ride in the stroller. Now, she wants to push it. She used to like to ride in shopping carts; now she wants to push them. She used to enjoy riding in the little red wagon; now she wants to push it. She's even developed a "game" where she sneaks up behind her unsuspecting father and yells, "push" and knocks him over (Rob's interjecting that she tries to push him over but trust me, she knocks him flat on his butt).














A stroller gives her something her own size to productively push around, while also providing a cradle-like bed for her baby dolls (like "Baby Abby" who's in the pram in these photos and videos).

As these videos show, Ella's really enjoying the pram. They also show that she needs a little practice steering.


All our upstairs furniture is currently pushed as close together as possible to provide a nice wide pathway.

We thought Ella pushing the stroller was cute enough- until she retrieved her baby diaper bag and carried that around, too.
