Lakeside

The next best thing to owning your own lakeside summer home is having a good friend who has one and invites you over. At least, that's what Ella and I discovered when we visited my friend Vicky at Yankee Lake in New York State.

Even Ella paused to admire the view while playing on the shore.

















Ella basically entertained herself while Vicky and I chatted away.











Fortunately, Vicky has some pretty cool lakeside toys like this little push train that Ella couldn't part with.

Ella also enjoyed this yellow bucket that she filled with found treasures and carried around like a purse all day.












Pacifier falls in the dirt- no problem! Just clean it off with a baby wipe and you're good to go. At least, that's Ella's theory.
