This week Ella finally had the chance to meet her cousins, Michael (2) and Roie (8 months). As the first Cederbaum grandchild, Michael was used to ruling the roost and it understandably took him a while to warm to the idea of sharing his beloved grandparents with his new baby brother. Therefore, we were really curious how Michael would feel about another attention-stealing baby arriving on the scene.
Here's Rob and Neil with Ella and Michael.
Turns out, we had nothing to worry about. Michael mostly ignored her buy ended the evening by kissing and hugging her (well, he's only a toddler, so the hugs came close to smothering and crushing her).
Little Roie, on the other hand, was fascinated with her. Whenever they were close together he smile, laughed, stared, and reached out to touch her.
Don't worry, Uncle Neil is a pediatrician, so I'm sure this Heisman Trophy baby hold is approved by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
