Brown Eyes, the Baby Chipmunk

Ella has a new pet. It's a baby chipmunk named Brown Eyes. Technically, Brown Eyes is a blade of grass but that doesn't dampen Ella's imagination. Individual blades of grass are cheap and readily available but unfortunately, they're also really easily lost. We go through several Brown Eyes a day.

Here she is showing the original Brown Eyes. She lives on a paper plate because otherwise, she is too difficult to see.

Here's Ella on another day with another Brown Eyes. When she brought this one inside, she said, "This is baby Brown Eyes. I'll take care of her and love her forever." Then she cried because 10 seconds later she lost Brown Eyes. Luckily, Rob "found" her (by going outside and picking a new one).
