7:30 am Saturday Morning

As the alarm rang, Rob rolled over and asked, "tell me again why we're getting up at 7:30am to make a 12:30 movie?"

"Because we have a baby," I responded.

Yes, it took 5 hours of prep, not to mention several weeks of planning for us to arrange to see "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" last weekend.

Our intricate plans involved Ella, Rob, and myself as well as my Dad and Carole all coming to Sara and John's house Saturday morning. While Sara was at work, my Dad and Carole babysat Ella while Rob, John, and I went to lunch and then the movie. When Sara got home, she joined the babysitting gig. Then, when the moviegoers got home, the babysitters went to the movie. Complicated, but par for the course when you have a new baby.

Turns out, the movie was great and the babysitters were excellent!

Ella was so exhaused by her day of fun that, once we got home, she fell asleep, while playing, with her legs resting on her daddy's leg.
