Autumn in New England

Today was the perfect autumn day: sunny, cool, and calm. We played outside for almost 2 hours, using every toy and riding vehicle in the garage.

Here's Ella and Jack on the sled in the driveway (I said we used EVERY riding vehicle). We discovered it slides pretty well on the bed of pine needles at the end of the driveway.









Here's Jack sitting on the steps, bouncing his basketball.











Ella loves climbing this rock to reach the leaves for her leaf collection.

Here's Ella pulling the sled with all our playground balls. Jack loved chasing her around but it was a risky game.

Our driveway has just enough of a slope to it that Ella can build up good speed on her tricycle.

Here's Jack just wandering around the yard. Listen at the end and you'll hear him saying "cheese" becuase he's thinks I'm taking his photo.
