With Sara and John's baby boy due any day now we decided to have one last playdate with just Ella, Jack, and Julia. The three of them had a great time.
Here they are in the hammock in the backyard.
Ella and Julia kept asking to swing higher and higher.
In a few weeks (or even days) we'll have to get a new backpack for the baby now known only as "Two Potato".
One of the best things about Julia's house is definitely the pets. Both my kids LOVE to pull Reggie's tail. Poor cat- he's the best!
While Ella and Julia were playing with me, Ella said, "Julia, don't you think having a baby brother will be so much fun?!?" Seconds later, when I went upstairs to check on lunch, Ella, thinking I was out of earshot said, "Julia, wouldn't it be fun to go to a place with no baby brothers." Clearly, she has mixed emotions about how to best prepare Julia for her new sibling.

Jack got so dirty playing outside in the hammock and in the sprinkler that he had to eat his ice cream sandwich in just his diaper. At one point my dad said, "Um, Jack's just rubbing the ice cream sandwich all over his legs. Does that mean he's done." Yup. He's done.
It took LOTS of paper towels to clean him up!
Hurry up, Two Potato! We can't wait to have another member of the gang!
