Memorial Day Weekend

We had a great Memorial Day weekend, although we weren't able to be at my cousin Megan's wedding in Tennessee. (Congratulations Megan and Ethan!)

We started with a trip the the Norwalk Maritime Aquarium.

Ella and Daddy took a boat trip (inside the Long Island Sound exhibit).

The playplace is always an Aquarium highlight.

The next day we went with our friends the Boudreaus to the Redding Town Memorial Day Parade.

Here's Dylan, Ella, and Melissa on the town green.

My friend, Lisa, and I dressed the girls in red white and blue and matching pigtails in hopes of ending up on the cover of the Redding Pilot newspaper. There was no photographer in sight but the girls still look cute.

The crew (our fantastic neighbors and friends) Melissa, Ella, Rob, Jack, Cathy, Joe, Lisa.

Here's Dylan in the parade (above the 9) with his baseball team.

Ella and her pigtails . . .

Jack and his hat (and binky).

On the blanket waiting for Dylan to go by.

When we bought Jack the red and blue shades we hoped to be able to snap at least one photo before he ripped them off. Turns out, he loves the sunglasses and we couldn't take them away.

Red, white, and blue!

Here we are, back at home, playing in the watertable on the deck.
