Rainy Day Fun

Last night, while I was making dinner, Ella decided she really really wanted to go outside. She appeared in the kitchen with her water shoes, umbrella, and raincoat and announced that she was going outside to play in the rain.

She didn't like my response that it was late, cold, raining, and that I was busy making dinner. After some intense negotiations, we decided that she could play, in the rain, on the deck. Here's a video of her at her sand and water table.


Jack, meanwhile, was perfectly happy to hang out in the kitchen with me.















This morning, she wanted to go out again, so we got her into her rain gear (it was cool and lightly raining) and bundled Jack up and went out for a walk.

Ella's sure that she does like her raincoat, umbrella, and boots.
