Festival of Lights

Yesterday was the first night of Chanukkah and we had a blast!




First, we lit the candles on our menorah.




















Then it was onto Ella's first present . . .










she wasn't quite sure what to make of the wrapping paper.



















She quickly got the hang of it and realized there was something cool inside the wrapping . . .















A Little People Firetruck!







She loves to take the little firefighter and the little dalmation out of the truck, hit them together, and then throw them to the ground.




She also likes to hit the firetruck with the wooden spatula that came with her potato pancake cooking set.









She may not be a good firefighter, but she already has the hang of using the "helper candle" to light the other ones (on her toy menorah).
